Material
The material used for this project is polycarbonate (PC). Compared with many general plastic materials, polycarbonate profiles are widely used in lighting covers and protective profile applications because of their durability, dimensional stability and transparency options. In this project, the customer selected a milky transparent color for the profile.
Application
This custom PC profile is designed for floor lighting cover use. Polycarbonate extrusion profiles are commonly applied in lighting systems where both appearance and functional protection are important. The customized profile shape was developed according to the customer’s specific installation and application requirements.
Production Process
This order started as a sample production project. First, we manufactured the extrusion mould based on the customer’s design requirements. After the mould was completed, sample profiles were produced for dimensional and application confirmation. Once the customer approved the samples, the project moved forward to batch production.
