This project was produced for a glazing customer in New Zealand. The customer needed custom bead seal profiles for window and door sealing applications, with two color options: white profile with white soft V-seal, and brown profile with brown soft V-seal.
The main body of the profile was made from aerated rigid PVC, which gives the product a timber-like appearance and stable profile structure. The soft V-seal was supplied by another factory and delivered to our extrusion factory, where it was combined with the rigid PVC body through a co-extrusion process.
Product Details
The project included two customized bead seal profiles:
White soft and rigid PVC co-extruded bead seal
Brown soft and rigid PVC co-extruded bead seal
Each profile was produced in 2.8-meter lengths. The soft V-seal was integrated into the rigid PVC body during production, helping the finished product achieve both structural support and sealing performance.
Manufacturing Process
The production process included PVC profile extrusion, soft and rigid PVC co-extrusion, profile forming, cutting, packing, labeling, and carton packing.
For this project, the soft V-seal and rigid PVC profile needed to match well during the co-extrusion process. This required careful control of the profile structure, V-seal direction, color matching, and final appearance.
After extrusion, the finished profiles were packed in small bundles. Several pieces were wrapped together with shrink film, and each pack was labeled with a custom pack sticker. The stickers were printed and prepared according to the customer’s requirement.
Several packs were then placed into one carton. Each carton also had fixed box stickers on both ends, making it easier for the customer to identify the product during receiving, storage, and installation.
Packing and Shipment
The packing method was arranged according to the customer’s product handling needs.
Each small pack was wrapped with shrink film.
Each pack carried a custom pack sticker.
Several packs were packed into one carton.
Each carton had box stickers on both ends.
The cartons were loaded onto pallets for shipment.
This packing method helped keep the long PVC profiles organized, protected, and easy to handle during transportation.
Customer Feedback
After receiving the goods, the customer was very satisfied with the product quality, packing, and delivery condition. They also shared receiving photos with us and gave positive feedback.
