Introduction

Marine bronze valve casting is widely used in shipbuilding and marine equipment due to its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.

In this project, we manufactured custom bronze valve components for a USA client using C60800 copper alloy through casting and machining processes. The parts are designed for marine applications where durability and resistance to seawater are critical.

Project Overview

  • Product: Marine valve component

  • Material: C60800 bronze alloy

  • Process: Bronze casting + machining

  • Application: Marine boat system

  • Customer Location: USA

Manufacturing Process

The marine valve parts were produced using bronze casting followed by machining to achieve the required dimensions and surface finish.

Typical process includes:

  • Raw material selection (C60800 bronze alloy)

  • Mold preparation

  • Casting and solidification

  • Rough machining

  • Final machining and inspection

This combination of casting and machining ensures both structural strength and dimensional accuracy.

Material: C60800 Bronze

C60800 is an aluminum bronze alloy known for:

  • Excellent corrosion resistance in seawater

  • High strength and wear resistance

  • Good performance under heavy load conditions

These properties make it suitable for marine valves, pumps and structural components exposed to harsh environments.

Applications of Marine Bronze Valve Parts

Marine bronze valve components are commonly used in:

  • Seawater cooling systems

  • Ballast and bilge systems

  • Fuel and fluid control systems

  • Marine pumps and pipelines

Bronze valves are widely used in ship systems because they resist corrosion and maintain performance under high pressure and temperature conditions.

For example, centrifugal cast bronze bushings are widely used in heavy-duty applications such as canal systems. You can view one of our projects here.
