Project Name
Custom Nylon Plastic Relief Valve Assembly
Custom Plastic Injection Molding and Assembly
This project involved the production and assembly of a custom plastic relief valve component for a customer in Houston, USA, serving the oil and gas equipment industry.
The assembly consists of injection-molded Nylon 6 components together with a stainless steel washer and a metal compression spring. Each component was manufactured or prepared according to the confirmed drawing and then assembled to achieve the required mechanical movement and return function.
The plastic valve body includes an external thread and an internal installation structure for the plunger, spring, and washer. Consistent molding dimensions and component fit were important for efficient assembly and reliable repeat production.

Assembly Composition
Each relief valve assembly includes the following components:
- One Nylon 6 threaded valve body
- One Nylon 6 plunger
- One metal compression spring
- One SS304 washer
The components were checked for fit and assembled according to the customer’s approved product structure.
Material
Threaded plastic valve body: Nylon 6
Plastic plunger: Nylon 6
Washer: SS304 stainless steel
Compression spring: 0.180″ × 0.375″ according to the customer’s confirmed specification
Nylon 6 was used for the molded plastic components according to the customer’s drawing and material requirements. The metal washer and spring were matched with the plastic components during final assembly.
Quantity
The order quantity was 10,000 sets per production batch. This is a regular repeat-order project requiring stable molding dimensions, consistent component matching, efficient assembly, and controlled batch packing.
Packing and Component Preparation

The injection-molded components were counted and packed in labeled plastic bags before final assembly or shipment preparation. Separating the different parts helped simplify quantity checking, component matching, and batch management.
The finished components and matching hardware were packed in cartons according to the confirmed delivery arrangement.
Plastic and Metal Component Assembly
This project required more than plastic molding alone. The Nylon 6 valve body and plunger had to be matched with the spring and stainless steel washer to form a functional component set.
For OEM projects involving injection-molded plastic parts together with springs, fasteners, washers, rubber components, machined metal parts, purchased hardware, or final assembly, explore our broader custom industrial parts manufacturing capabilities.
Project Result
The Nylon 6 valve bodies and plungers were produced according to the confirmed component design and matched with the SS304 washers and compression springs.
The regular 10,000-set production batches demonstrate our ability to coordinate injection molding, component preparation, accessory matching, assembly support, quantity control, and export packing for industrial plastic and metal assemblies.
