Steel Wheel Spacer from the Previous Project
This project involved custom aluminum wheel spacers. We had previously manufactured steel wheel spacers for the same customer, which provided useful experience for confirming the dimensions, installation requirements, and packing method for this new sample order.
Aluminum Wheel Spacer of This Project
Material
Aluminum, alu. 6061-T6
Specification
6x130PCD with CB75
Do you know what’s PCD?
PCD means Pitch Circle Diameter
PCD is usually measured in millimeters and increases with the number of screw holes. In addition to the hole pitch, you should also pay attention to the value of the “center hole”, which is the diameter of the center hole of the wheel hub (unit: mm), which determines whether the wheel hub can be installed in. If the center hole of the wheel hub is too small, the bearing shaft head will not be inserted. , so the center hole of the modified wheel hub must be larger than or equal to the original center hole. Also, do you know what’s is CB for the wheel spacer?
Center Bore (CB for short) is used to ensure that the wheel hub can be installed on the axle. Taking CB73.1 as an example, it means that the diameter of the center hole of the wheel hub is 73.1 mm. If the center hole is smaller than the diameter of the axle, the wheel hub cannot be installed on the car. If the center hole is larger than the diameter of the axle, it can be solved by matching the axle collar.

Height of the Wheel Spacer
The customer ordered two sample sizes, with raised-section heights of 35 mm and 40 mm. Four sets of each size were produced for dimensional and installation evaluation.
35mm

40mm

Bolt Installed
Each wheel spacer was supplied with six matching studs and nuts, as shown in the project photos.
Packing

Each wheel spacer was packed in an individual box, with four boxes placed in one outer carton. The carton was secured with packing straps for transportation.
Express
For small sample orders, we can arrange cost-effective express delivery directly to the customer’s address. The shipping method is selected according to the parcel weight, destination, delivery time, and transportation cost.
For OEM projects involving machined automotive parts together with studs, nuts, washers, bearings, plastic components, rubber parts, coatings, or complete assemblies, explore our broader custom industrial parts manufacturing capabilities.
Project Result
The aluminum wheel spacer samples were manufactured in both 35 mm and 40 mm heights according to the confirmed 6 × 130 PCD and CB75 specifications. Each spacer was matched with six studs and nuts before packing.
The samples were checked for bolt-hole position, center bore, overall height, surface condition, and component fit before shipment. Each wheel spacer was packed individually, with four boxes placed in one outer carton for delivery.
