Project Item
This project included two custom EPDM extrusion profiles in sizes 50 × 50 mm and 29 × 35 mm for bridge and metro infrastructure applications in Thailand.
Quantity
29 × 35 mm profile: 470 m, supplied in 50 m lengths
50 × 50 mm profile: 250 m, supplied in 50 m lengths
The total order quantity was 720 meters. The production and packing lengths were confirmed according to handling, transportation, and installation requirements.
Material
The profiles were manufactured from EPDM rubber according to the customer’s confirmed material, hardness, and application requirements.
Application
The elastomeric profile is installed between metallic expansion-joint elements to help prevent the penetration of water, debris, and other foreign materials.
The profile is positioned within the traffic-surface system but is not intended to carry direct traffic loads.
Its flexible cross-section allows compression while transmitting only limited horizontal force to the adjoining components.
The profile is locked into extruded aluminium elements using a specially designed key structure and can be removed when replacement or maintenance is required.
Packing
The finished EPDM profiles were coiled and packed on pallets for export transportation.
