Custom Copper Bushing for Marine Infrastructure
This project involves the manufacturing of custom copper bushings supplied for a canal infrastructure project in Panama. Copper alloy bushings are widely used in marine and shipping equipment due to their excellent corrosion resistance and wear performance in seawater environments.
The bushings were manufactured according to client drawings and technical specifications to meet the operational requirements of canal and marine equipment. Copper alloy materials provide reliable performance under heavy loads and continuous operation conditions.
Copper bushings are commonly used in marine machinery, shaft systems, and infrastructure equipment where durability, corrosion resistance, and low friction are essential.
Yutung Industrial provides customized manufacturing solutions for copper alloy bushings and marine metal components based on client drawings and application requirements.

Project Quantity
The production quantity was 400 pieces.
Tooling was developed first, followed by sample production. After the customer received and approved the samples, the project proceeded to batch production.
Project Process
Copper centrifugal casting + Machining
Custom Copper Bushing Material
C86200
Application
Marine use, supplied for a canal infrastructure project in Panama.
Technical Requirement
The bushings were manufactured according to the customer’s approved drawing and technical requirements.
- Dimensions and chamfers: within the confirmed drawing tolerances
- Inside diameter surface roughness: Ra 1.6
- Outside diameter surface roughness: Ra 6.3
- Material composition and mechanical properties: according to the confirmed C86200 specification
- Final inspection: SGS on-site inspection before shipment
For copper alloy components requiring CNC turning, bore machining, chamfer control, surface roughness verification, and detailed dimensional inspection, explore our custom precision metal parts manufacturing capabilities.
SGS On-site Inspection
SGS come to our factory to do the final inspection before shipment.
Size Inspection

Champer Inspection

Surface Finishing Inspection

The measured outside diameter surface roughness was Ra 1.471, compared with the drawing requirement of Ra 6.3.
The measured inside diameter surface roughness was Ra 1.050, compared with the drawing requirement of Ra 1.6.
Both measured results were within the confirmed surface roughness requirements.
Packing
The finished bushings were packed in export cartons without solid-wood packaging materials.
A material test ring was shipped together with the finished bushings for the customer’s further material and mechanical-property verification.
