Project Overview
This project demonstrates our capability in custom CNC precision machining for steel components. The part was manufactured through investment casting followed by CNC machining to achieve precise dimensions and surface quality.
Our team supports customized machining projects based on customer drawings or technical requirements. By combining casting and CNC machining processes, we can produce complex metal parts with improved accuracy and efficiency.
Drawing

Material
The material used for this project was Q235 structural steel, equivalent to ASTM A36 for general structural applications. After casting, the component was CNC machined to achieve the required dimensions, hole positions, and surface quality.
Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing process for this project included silica sol investment casting followed by CNC precision machining. For custom carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel components requiring silica sol or water glass casting, complex geometry, stable dimensions, and batch production, explore our custom investment casting parts manufacturing capabilities.
First, the casting process was used to produce the near-net-shape component. Then CNC machining operations were applied to achieve the required tolerances and surface finish.
Secondary machining operations such as drilling, milling and turning were carried out to complete the final part according to the customer’s specifications.
For cast components requiring CNC drilling, milling, turning, hole-depth control, surface finishing, and detailed dimensional inspection, explore our custom precision metal parts manufacturing capabilities.
Size Inspection
All specified dimensions were inspected according to the customer’s drawing, including hole diameters, hole depths, hole spacing, width, length, and overall height.
Inspection photos and measurement records were prepared for customer confirmation before shipment.
