Product General
This is a regular repeat-order project for custom cast iron components used in vehicle assembly plant equipment. The products were manufactured according to the customer’s drawings and supplied approximately once per year in scheduled batches.
The order includes several different cast components, such as housings, bearing caps, brake brackets, and steering knuckles, all produced according to the confirmed material and dimensional requirements.

Detailed Items with Quantity
- Auto Housing Casting, 20pcs
- Auto Hat Casting, 50pcs
- Auto Bearing Cap, 40pcs
- 1 Tonne Brake Bracket Casting for Auto, 50pcs
- Kingpin Steering Knuckle, RH (right hand), 40pcs
- Kingpin Steering Knuckle, LH (left hand), 40pcs
Material
The components were manufactured from SG500-7 ductile iron, selected for its strength, toughness, and suitability for automotive and industrial equipment applications.
Quality Inspection
This mould is already made and approved from the beginning of the project.
So the size will be uniform for every batch.
The castings were supplied with machining allowance because the customer planned to complete the final machining in Australia before the parts entered service.
For custom cast components requiring machining allowance control, dimensional inspection, material verification, CNC finishing, and final assembly preparation, explore our custom precision metal parts manufacturing capabilities.
Material Quality Control
- During casting production, a test bar was poured from the same molten metal batch as the components. The test bar was packed together with the finished castings for the customer’s further verification.
- A material test report and certificate were prepared for the customer’s quality records before shipment.
