Custom Rotational Moulding Plastic Products
This project involved the manufacture of custom rotational moulded plastic components for an industrial customer in Israel.
Rotational moulding is commonly used to produce hollow plastic products such as containers, housings, tanks, and industrial enclosures. During production, the mould rotates while the plastic material is heated and distributed across the internal mould surface.
The process is suitable for relatively large hollow components requiring one-piece construction, rounded transitions, and customised external shapes.
The products were manufactured according to the customer’s approved drawings, dimensions, material specification, colour, surface texture, and sample requirements.

Process
The components were manufactured through rotational moulding, also known as rotomoulding.
The production process included mould development, material preparation, rotational moulding, cooling, demoulding, trimming, surface inspection, and sample confirmation.
Material
The products were manufactured from LLDPE, or linear low-density polyethylene, according to the customer’s confirmed material requirements.）
Color
The confirmed product colour was cream white.
Surface
The product surface was manufactured with a fine sand-textured finish according to the approved sample requirements.

Sample and batch production
This was a sample-development order. Two rotational moulded samples were manufactured and shipped to the customer by FedEx for evaluation.
The customer would confirm the dimensions, surface texture, colour, appearance, and technical requirements before batch production started.
