Custom Forged Steel Parts

This project involves the manufacturing of custom forged steel parts supplied to a client in Australia. The components are produced through the forging process to achieve improved strength and durability compared with conventional casting methods.

Forging allows the metal grain structure to be aligned with the shape of the part, resulting in enhanced mechanical properties and resistance to fatigue. These characteristics make forged components suitable for demanding mechanical and automotive applications.

The forged parts are manufactured according to client drawings and specifications, and the project continues with repeat production orders due to stable quality and reliable supply.

We manufacture custom forged steel components according to customer drawings, material specifications, machining allowance, heat-treatment requirements, and final application needs.

Manufacturing Process

The components were manufactured from 4140 alloy steel through the custom forging process.

After forging, the inner bore was pre-machined according to the confirmed dimensions and machining allowance. The customer completed the final precision machining after receiving the forged components.

Application and Drawing Review

The forged components were supplied for an automotive application in Australia.

Understanding the final application helps us review the material grade, forged shape, machining allowance, bore dimensions, heat treatment, surface treatment, and inspection requirements before production.

We manufacture according to customer drawings and technical specifications, while also reviewing whether forging, casting, machining, stamping, or another process is more suitable for the required geometry, quantity, material, and final use.
