This project involves the production of a custom cable tab hardware kit supplied to an automotive client in Australia. The kit includes bent metal cable tabs, matching bolts, and sealed packaging to provide a complete installation solution.

Each cable tab hardware kit included:
- Two custom stamped and bent metal tabs
- Two M6 × 25 standard bolts
- Two M6 nuts
- Two M6 flat washers
- Two M6 spring washers
- One sealed plastic bag
The components were counted and packed together as one complete kit. The finished kits were then packed in cartons for delivery to the automotive customer in Australia.
Manufacturing and Assembly Process
The custom cable tabs were manufactured through metal stamping and bending. Production tooling was developed first according to the customer’s approved drawing, followed by trial production and dimensional confirmation.
The stamped tabs were then matched with M6 bolts, nuts, flat washers, and spring washers according to the confirmed kit specification.
During assembly, the required quantity of each component was counted and placed into one sealed bag. The completed kits were checked for component completeness, quantity accuracy, tab appearance, and packaging condition before carton packing.
