This project was developed for an Israeli customer who needed a custom plastic nozzle produced according to their drawing and 3D design.
The product was made from ABS plastic, with the required color of RAL 7042 gray. According to the drawing, the marked decorative area needed a textured surface. Before mold production, we prepared several texture samples for the customer to review, and the customer finally selected texture-3 for the yellow-marked decorative surface area.
The project required a new injection mold, detailed 3D confirmation, texture confirmation, sample approval, and batch production.
Drawing and Technical Confirmation
The customer provided a drawing for the nozzle, with the drawing number 21-17-1802. The drawing specified ABS plastic material, RAL 7042 color, and a decorative texture surface on the marked area.
Before starting mold production, we reviewed the product structure and confirmed several important details with the customer, including the draft angle, gate position, pin area, demolding direction, and textured surface position.

During this stage, we sent updated 3D drawings to the customer for confirmation several times. This helped both sides make sure that the final mold design matched the customer’s assembly and appearance requirements.

After the sample was produced, we found that the marked red area was 0.2mm thicker than the original drawing. We clearly marked this difference and sent it to the customer for confirmation. The customer reviewed the sample condition and accepted this 0.2mm thickness difference.

Texture Selection
For this nozzle, the customer required a decorative texture surface on the marked area of the part.
We prepared different texture samples for the customer to compare. After reviewing the options, the customer selected texture-3. This texture was then applied to the corresponding surface area during mold finishing.

Texture selection is important for plastic injection molded parts, especially when the part is visible after assembly. A suitable texture can improve the final appearance, reduce visible surface marks, and help the product match other surrounding components.

New Injection Mold Development
A new injection mold was developed for this project.
During the mold design stage, we paid attention to the product shape, demolding direction, draft angle, gate position, local thickness, and surface texture area. These details were confirmed before mold machining to reduce later modification risk.
After mold machining and assembly, sample parts were produced for customer approval. The sample review included checking the shape, color, texture surface, mounting holes, opening area, and general appearance.

Sample Approval and Batch Production
After the mold trial and sample confirmation, the customer approved the sample and confirmed batch production.

The final production quantity was 1,800 pcs. The parts were packed into 4 cartons. Because the customer needed the goods urgently, the shipment was arranged by air.
This project shows our ability to support custom plastic injection molding projects from drawing review and mold development to texture selection, sample approval, batch production, and urgent shipment arrangement.
The final production quantity was 1,800 pcs. The nozzles were packed into 4 cartons, with 450 pcs in each carton. Each carton was marked with a package label showing the product name, quantity, package number, and destination from Shanghai to Israel.

Because the customer needed the goods urgently, we arranged air shipment after packing.
